What's on my mind

So after going 2-0 on Saturday, I followed it up by going 1-1 on Sunday. Is that a bad thing? I do not think so. That brings me to 6-2 so far...

Anyhow is it me or is this Favre vs. GB stuff getting annoying! It's not like the game is in GB or something...I mean FOR THE LOVE OF GOD just play the game! I still like GB in this game and Rodgers should have a better game then Brett (plus I need him to have a good game because I am trailing in my fantasy league...my team's name is Vincent Chase).

Ok that's enough Brett Favre bashing...ok 1 more...I HATE BRETT FAVRE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nah I'm playing Favre is one of the best to do it...I am just tired of hearing how good he is.

Changing subjects real fast, HOW BOUT THOSE PHILLIES!

I am so ready. I am waiting to see who Uncle Charlie puts on the mound for Game 1. I really hope it is Kid Cole. He is by far the best pitcher for the job. And honestly who on the staff plays better under the big lights? NOBODY. If the Phillies repeat it will be on the back of my 2 favorite players. Kid Cole and Ryan Howard.

Now I know I am all over the place today but that's because there is so much going on and I honestly want to touch them all.

Did you guys see Entourage last night?

That was by far the best season finale I have watched in a long time. Everything from my boy Matt Damon punking Drama, to E getting Sloan (SHE IS SOOOOOO BAD). But honestly what was better then watching Ari Gold come to the office doing his best Terminator impression.

The writers of that show did a tremendous job this year and I am looking forward to the next season...Oh yeah and if you are wondering why I am talking about this when I am suppose to blog about sports I decided to do it for 2 reasons.
  1. Because King James appeared on it and that made it a sports topic (HA)
  2. And the most important reason BECAUSE I WANT TO!
Hope you guys enjoyed this and remember this is JUST MY THOUGHTS!

Told you so!

So anyone that knows me knows that I am not one to say I told you so...BUT uh lets keep it real..Your boy is on fire like a Fourth of July cookout (yeah I know that sucked).

I told you guys EXACTLY what would happen in Georgia when they faced LSU, and also that Miami was going to do their thing when they faced Oklahoma.

LSU VS. Georgia

Man this one was a good one. I honestly enjoyed this game and was happy to see LSU pull it out at the end...But I want LSU fans to know that if they come with that weak crap when they play my boys...well lets just say they will get served!

GO GATORS!

WILL I KEEP IT UP?

I think so. But then again if I didn't I would not have made sure I posted this before Sunday's game. If you do not like my NFL picks for Week 4 thats cool. Trust me I understand. So keep your popcorn in your pocket, but make sure you play those guys I said to play in FFB. I can almost guarantee if you have them and they are on your bench...YOU WILL BE SORRY...

Enjoy your Week 4

E-A-G-L-E-S...EAGLES!!!!!!!

Rocking with the best!

Ok Week 4 of the 2009 Fantasy Football season is here and I am about to give you guys some FREE advice.

Thank you Thank you Thank you, you're far too kind. Hold your applause this is your league not mine.

So anybody can tell you to play Drew Brees or ADP...but it takes a real FFB minded person to tell you which sleepers will do their thing this week.

QB sleepers

Eli Manning:
I know you guys may be saying "Jerv he isn't a sleeper!" Why isn't he? NOBODY ever gives this guy any credit (including myself) and he is going up against the sorry Chiefs...so with that said look for Eli to have one of the best weeks for fantasy QBs this week.

Kerry Collins: Yeah I said it! Cry two tears in a bucket! Collins isn't the worst QB in the world. Shoot he is actually pretty efficient. He "manages the game." The Jags (the team they are facing this week) are ranked 32nd vs. the pass and have given up over 300 yards passing twice this season.

RB sleepers

Ray Rice/Willis McGahee:
So there is a chance that Vince Wilfork (Patriots DT) may not play. And that is GREAT news for this dynamic duo. If Vince does not play look for these two guys to put up BIG numbers. And if he does play I would still play them because the Pats' D has not looked good all year long.

Correll Buckhalter: Despite playing well against the run last week vs. Carolina, the Cowboys have not looked good against the run. They are giving up over 100 yards a game on the ground and IF the Broncos can establish the pass early against the run, look for Buckhalter and Knowshon Moreno to have a solid week.

WR sleepers

Kevin Walter: Last week Kevin showed what he can do when healthy. So I expect the same from him this week. He will benefit all season long from having Andre Johnson attracting all the attention. So look for Walter to take advantage of single coverage.

Nate Washington: So in order for my Kerry Collins prediction to come true, I need Nate Washington to ball. Washington had a small game last week vs. the Jets but so did Randy Moss and Andre Johnson. Washington is not a bad WR and he will see his good share of balls thrown to him this week.

Thanks for tuning in guys and gals...
